Three young students attending the University of California Santa Barbara formed Inogen. Together they developed a new portable oxygen concentrator to improve the life of Mae, one student’s beloved grandmother who used supplemental oxygen therapy. Today, Inogen provides millions suffering from respiratory disease a chance to reclaim their freedom and a more fulfilling life free from the hardships of restrictive oxygen tanks.
Innovative technology allowing the development of lightweight, travel-approved portable oxygen concentrators changed the perception of being tethered to a heavy stationary tank. It took the supplemental oxygen industry to an entirely new level.
A single focused logo project with one objective—to convey the ability to sustain life and promote freedom and independence. It sounds simple but it took a great deal of perspiration.
